Cwm Gwrelych Geo Heritage Trail canvas
This is an unnamed waterfall that can be found on a trail that explores 300 million years of local history and has been developed by the British Institute for Geological Conservation to aid conservation and understanding of the 300 million year old rock exposures. Starting in Pont Walby village it heads south passing beneath the Brunel built viaduct and upstream through a narrow gorge dominated by farewell rock crags. The trail meanders away from the river itself to explore iron ore workings.
