The Batu Caves are situated thirteen kilometers from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Sacred place for the Hindus, a climb of 272 steps to reach the three main caves and a number of smaller ones after. The caves are made of limestone discovered in 1892. Standing at 42.7 m (140 ft) high, the worlds tallest statue of Murugan, a Hindu deity.
