The Ostrog Monastery is a monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church situated against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroška Greda, in Montenegro. It is dedicated to Saint Basil of Ostrog (Sveti Vasilije Ostroški), who was buried here. This image shows the upper church, which includes the cave-church known as the Church of the Presentation containing the body of the saint enshrined in a reliquary, bathed in golden light at sunset.
